According to the dictionary, wine tourism is simply a form of thematic journey that places wine and its production at the center of attention, but in reality it is much more, because the production of wine involves a profound influence on the surrounding area, in the sense that the wine productions profoundly shape the landscape where they are carried out. So the winemaker has the possibility to considerably modify the places of production and in my opinion this transformation must be accomplished by drawing inspiration as much as possible from the natural principles of eco-sustainability, balancing the areas cultivated with vineyards with the wooded areas, allowing for the right balance between flora and fauna, while agronomic management must have minimal environmental impact.
At this point you can understand that each glass is a synthesis of many factors, ranging from the territory to the hundreds of agronomic and oenological choices undertaken by the single producer, which will write a chapter of the millenary history of viticulture every year.
In 2023 I opened the tasting room, created in the historic rooms of the 1600s with exposed vaults, where I combine my wines with cheese and cured meats, because I consider it a gastronomic wine, which should be savored while eating, because all its facets can be enjoyed to the fullest.
At the moment, booking is welcome to carry out the tasting; you can find the contact details on the contact page of the website.
