Venti Pertiche

Red typical geographical indication

"Venti Pertiche" has its origins in the vineyards near the Mornico castle. Thanks to this location, on the ridge that overlooks the Ronchi valley, people can admire the Alps, the Isimbardi Palace, the Torricella sanctuary and many other interesting glimpses. In addition soils, particularly suited to winemaking, produce high-quality bunches of grapes.
The must, composed by Croatina (75%), Uva Rara (15%), Barbera (10%), guarantees a large tannic texture fiddled thanks to the attention given during the contact phase between grape skin and must: leaving it to ferment with the grapes for a week, grape skins and grape seeds will give their colour and tannins.
Thanks to the manual follatures and pumpings, the finest tannins are extracted. In this way, it is obtained a full and round taste with fruity notes of ripe prune and liquorice.
This wine is suitable for the ageing, in fact, after some years in the bottle, great results can be achieved.
It combines perfectly with red meats, roasts, wild games and cheeses.
